My host disabled my site because of a phishing attack. i found some files hidden in my WP ecommerce image folder. The permissions for this folder have to be set to writeable, so maybe this is how they can get in. I have already tried the steps you took, and it just keeps happening again. its a difficult situation and a stressful one. Reading your post here makes me feel better - because at least i know i took the right steps to try to fix it - so thanks. This is happening to me right now.
